1. Read the Scriptures together every day. Don't let this become overwhelming. If you only have time to read a little bit, read a little bit. Don't pressure yourself to the point that you give up even trying. :-) 2. Use Scripture verses as penmanship practice. You can get a MEAD PRIMARY JOURNAL at Walmart. It has space on each page to write a Scripture verse and draw a picture above it, illustrating the verse. 3. Sing Scripture songs as you go about the house. Words that are heard in song are easily memorized and not easily forgotten. As your children sing Scripture songs and hear you singing them, these words will become a part of them that they will never be able to forget. |
