In 03-2006 Seth Anthony LaGoy and Alexis Lenore West pledged their faithfulness to each other and were joined by Yahweh in the state of betrothal in the presence of their families. Their wedding ceremony was held on 07-02-2006. Steve West (the father of the bride) publicly declared his blessing and consent in giving his daughter in marriage to Seth. After Seth went to claim his bride, the two stood beneath the wedding chuppah while Brain LaGoy (the father of the groom) gave a short message. He explained what the marriage covenant means and how it is binding for life. He also elaborated on how the purpose of love is joy, and that the more we cause our love to grow, the more joy will abound. It was a very joyous occasion. There was song and dance, and much congratulating and photographing of the new couple.
